Went to Time After Time (TAT) Café for brunch and was genuinely impressed. the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, not flashy. The matcha croissant was flaky with a rich, earthy matcha flavour, while the fig croissant was lightly sweet and perfectly balanced. The spicy prawn hot dog stood out — juicy prawns with a gentle kick of spice, something a bit different from the usual brunch options. We had the Time Traveler coffee, which was smooth, well-balanced, and paired really well with the food. Overall, it’s a great spot for a slow weekend brunch with quality food and excellent coffee. Would happily come back.

Very simple breakfast menu but let’s be honest most people are going for the pastries! We both had eggs on toast and the bread was great. I believe it’s made in house and you can buy a loaf and take it home. We also had a cinnamon scroll and the chocolate croissant- the cinnamon scroll was so soft. Very good! I also tried the time traveller and it was good but the citrus on top was not my thing. Good to try but not something I would have again. Overall recommend checking out

Conclusion first: this shop has officially become my favorite pastry shop in Melbourne!!!!! I’m absolutely crazy about their matcha croissant🥐crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside (you can literally see the beautiful layers in my photo). The matcha cream topping is milky with just the right amount of sweetness, and the whole croissant is not greasy at all, which I really appreciate. Totally my type😭 We also ordered two toasts, and their sourdough is AMAZING. You must try the warm green one!!! It’s so fresh and incredibly satisfying. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Great friendly staff. Good coffee. The croissants are towards the soft buttery side (not so flakey). The matcha custard is my favourite. The cooked meal has good flavour but small portions. Weekend and card surcharge applies.

How is this even possible? So good. Looks amazing and tastes even better. The fig croissant and avocado bread were sooo good. If you’re a mushroom lover, you have to try this dessert too. The cafe is quiet and chill even on weekends, perfect for getting some work done. I’ll definitely be coming back often🫶🏻
