Simple, yes—but in the hands of a great café, simplicity sings. Then came the raspberry danish, filled with a French-style custard that was beautifully light—silken and delicate, never too rich. Buttery, flaky pastry wrapped around tart fruit and that airy custard made for a bite so perfectly balanced it lingers in your memory long after you’ve left. The only challenge here? Securing a seat. The café’s popularity is proof of its excellence, so be prepared: arrive early or plan to take your treats to-go. And honestly, there’s something rather romantic about unwrapping a pastry box by the sea, the scent of butter and berries mingling with the salt air. This isn’t just a café—it’s a destination. Outstanding pastries, yummy sourdough bread and exquisite sweet treats. Kind, efficient customer service. The atmosphere was nice. Only took off one star as the bakery seems to be on a main bus road and the buses are quite loud. Overall, would recommend 100%. This place is an adventure for the taste buds!

Flaky, soft, perfectly spiced. The coffee is solid and pairs beautifully with their baked goods, and the customer service is just as impressive—warm, genuine, and passionate about what they do. If you haven’t been yet, go. And if you have—go again. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves a quality pastry.

You couldn’t find a nicer place to go for a sweet treat, great coffee and friendly staff! Whenever a friend gives me the option of where to have our catch ups, I pick here. I have had numerous comments from those friends saying “this was the best ____ I have ever had!” Some of my favourites are the pizza croissant, the chocolate mousse cake or the baguettes. Just unreal! It’s a must-go!
