This place needs no introduction to the locals however I just discovered that they have French patisserie and the chef is blessed with magical fingers The viennoiseries are a delight to look at and a pleasure for the palate They are fresh and delish My neighbour Paula goes there everyday and she took me to That Place today What a joy for my eyes and my belly I am Mauritian and grew up with French patisserie and I could smell the butter from the croissant that were freshly made It was joy to the eyes to see the chef measuring and prepping her next viennoiseries The place is cosy and the girls are charming It’s very intimate and small but the exact location and size of you want to feel special - not your crowded cafe A must go again …. Merciiiiii

After seeing a review on here for the almond croissant, I've been hanging out to try it for months. After popping in a couple of times close to closing and missing out as it is a super popular item, I finally got in That Place in good time today and got my hands on one! I can safely say this is the best almond croissant I've ever had. Flaky, soft on the inside, beautiful crunch on the outside, just sweet enough without being over the top. Add this to the beautiful service and other delectable items available, and this is a place I will come back to again and again!

This cafe is amazing! You get to sit on the porch and play with other people’s dog lol I love that! The food is amazing, almond croissant definitely worth trying, and the lemon tart is also very tasty, I like the sour better than sweet~ overall atmosphere is great, sitting with people from the neighborhood on Saturday morning is a total relax.

cutest place. so happy i stumbled across it! super friendly service, amazing vibe. the almond croissant was recommended and honestly one of the best i’ve ever had! nice crunch and not too sweet. tasted super fresh and loved how you could see them preparing more delicious pastries in the back. coffee was also super smooth + the cup it came in was beautiful. definitely recommend popping in for a visit, wish this was my local!

Both berry danish 🫐🥐 & almond croissant 🥐 ($8.89/each including 10% weekend surcharge and 💳 credit card EFTPOS surcharge) were well balanced, delicious but on the smaller side. Pastries are freshly baked on site and served as is (not toasted) so best to eat ASAP. 😁 Service: FOH girls were very friendly & welcoming owards every customer.
