Tried the Dubai Crunchy Ball, it was so nice. Chewy outside and crunchy inside. Pastries here is nice but batch brew is on the sour side.
Heard good things about the egg tarts here and DAMN ARE THEY RIGHT. They're $11 which is a bit pricey but it's absolutely worth it because they are perfection. The pastry is so crispy and flaky and the sweet glaze over it is the cherry on top. AND JUST LOOK AT THAT CUSTARD. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ANYTHING SO CREAMY BEFORE. 10/10 I also got a sikhye for $7.50 because it sounded interesting and it was pretty nice ! 7.5/10 Planning on coming back here to try more of their pastries because a lot of the things in the cabinet looked delicious !
They know their ingredients well and incorporated it so well into the products. I got a black sesame latte and black sesame mochi croissant. The black sesame cream and the crusty flaky layers go so well together even if the mochi is cold. Thereโs also a hint of salt in the black sesame latte though imho its still too sweet for a milk based drink. BUT I WOULD TRAVEL TO SYDNEY FOR THEIR PASTRIES๐ป๐ป๐ป๐ป
Second visit here. Last time I had the bechamel ham & cheese croissant with hot honey - still one of the better croissants Iโve had in Sydney. Flaky, crispy, buttery, just done right. This time I tried the pandan croissant. Was expecting it to be really sweet, but it was actually well balanced - light pandan cream and a bit of coconut going on. Good with a coffee. Theyโve also got some interesting drinks (black sesame latte, iced matcha variations, Korean sweet rice punch, etc.). Havenโt tried them yet but they look worth a go on another visit. Coffee is solid. Seating inside is limited, but easy enough to grab and go.
Came with my friend. Got a mocha, my friend ordered a matcha latte with a ham & cheese croissant. The croissant was yum and delish (bit sweet to my taste), still nice though. The matcha latte was surprisingly gorg (Love it)!!!! Mocha was quite aveg (got mixed up with matcha but quickly remedied)
