Open early morning with smiles and coffee. Several snack options.
If you're going on a Rotto ferry, skip the first E Shed entrance and head down to Squiffies - the muffins are better, the coffee is decent, and the service was great 👍🏼
Delicious fresh juices, coffee and food. Really lovely service! A good spot to stop before getting on the ferry.
If you’re about to hop the ferry to Rottnest and need a caffeine hit before facing quokkas and questionable bike gears, Squiffies is your launch pad. ☕ Coffee: $6 for a three‑shot flat white sounds like a bargain, but don’t expect it to blow your socks off. More “gentle pat on the back” than “wake‑up slap.” 🫐 Blueberry yoghurt: Also $6, made in‑house, creamy, and the kind of thing that makes you feel smugly healthy while you’re secretly eyeing the cake cabinet. 🍰 Cakes: They looked so good I half expected them to wink at me. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up ordering one “for the ferry ride” and another “for the walk to the ferry.” 👩🍳 Staff: Friendly, quick with a smile, and clearly used to dealing with half‑asleep travelers who think Rottnest is spelled “Rotness.” Verdict: Squiffies is a cute pit stop, perfect for breakfast and a laugh before you head off to Rotto. Go for the yoghurt, stay for the cakes, and treat the coffee like a warm‑up act rather than the headliner.
Looks nice and just on the other side of the jetty for Rottnest ferries. But my Cappucchino had no creamy top and very low chocolate. So i was very dissapointed, as i love these nice and yummi cream every time i go out for it. Way too hot to drink.
