Found Riser when we were on a walk and let me tell you! Their pastries and service didn’t disappoint. Great stuff!

By far my favourite bakery in Brisbane! The pastries are absolute perfection – crispy, buttery, and delicious every single time. The savoury danish is a must-try! Their fresh sandwiches are also super tasty! I always stop by whenever I’m in the area. Great coffee too!

This café in the neighbourhood is an experience to walk to (steep hill down and up) but such a lovely place with multiple seating areas indoor, outdoor, upstairs and upstairs outdoor. Yummy bakes and coffee. Atmosphere was very nice for breakfast. Please check opening hours before going.

There was a long line, but it was totally worth it! I’m not a local, so maybe I picked the wrong time to try it for the first time – but I’m so glad I did. I literally fell in love with the grapefruit croissant – absolutely divine! The coffee was great too. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

The croissants here are on the crispier side, with a delightful flaky texture. The almond croissant has a unique touch of honey, making it a bit sweeter than usual, but in a lovely way. I also tried a savoury croissant called the “Bear Crawl”—shaped like a bear paw and filled with salmon. Such a creative and thoughtful combination! The almond cookie was also delicious—more of a soft cookie, but still with a nice crisp edge. The pastries here definitely stand out from other places; they have their own unique character. No wonder it’s always busy. Worth a try!
