What an unbelievably awesome bakery…. The shelves are filled with high quality innovative products …. The three legendary bakers out the back in the open bakery makes the atmosphere as real as your gonna get. Cannot wait to try the flatbread 🤩 Must go ….

One of the best pies I’ve had. The pastry was buttery and flaky, and the mince was full of flavour. The Portuguese tart and brownie were a little sweet for my liking, and the coffee was slightly too hot, but the service was excellent. Parking was a bit difficult, though definitely worth the visit.

This place is such a great cafe tucked away in a side street you’ll find a wide selection of pastries and handhelds that will be sure to leave you satisfied. Staff is always super friendly when we are here and the coffee is off the charts. We usually stick to either the brekky wrap or the bacon egg croissant. The brekky wrap sells out pretty quickly so come early if you want a taste. They have a variety of pastries and we have never had a bad dish here.

I love Ricks as much as the next bloke, but unfortunately my experience this time was disappointing. It’s great to see them so busy, a local place doing so well. I was tossing between a steak and cheese pie or the loaded steak pie, was going to do just a steak pie but then a fresh batch of the loaded steak pies came out, thought it was gods sign to get one. The mash, bacon and cheese all sounded so good with the pie but as soon as I went to pick up the pie it completely fell apart on me, completely breaking. For 10.50, I would hope for some structural integrity. I’m not sure if it was because of the toppings and if it was, that’s my fault. As for the pie from what I could scrape up, it was pretty flavourless. Disappointing, but I’ll be back to try the others and hope for a better outcome.

This is my second visit of Rick’s. Great place full of baked goods, sweet and sour pastry and delicious chai lattes. Service is reasonably fast too, considering amount of customers coming in constantly. Their Portuguese tarts are very delicious. Definitely recommend to give it a try.
