Never-ending variations on a seemingly simple French sponge cake. With and without fillings and delicate decorations. As yummy as they are pretty, madeleines from Madeleine are fun every time! I tend to drop by for a sweet treat to have onsite when passing by (they serve coffees, too), and always end up bringing a few home for later. Friendly staff bake them on site and know all the ins and outs, so you can always get some guidance when spoiled for choice.
I stumbled upon Madeleine de Proust on social media. Admittedly, I was never a fan of madeleines; every one I had ever tried was dry, floury, and bland. But I went out on a limb and gave Madeleine de Proust a try because their madeleines looked so pretty. Well, I am so glad to say that they taste as glorious as they look! Every madeleine is so well thought out, the flavours are intricately balanced to produce an explosion on my palate. I am well and truly converted to a madeleine fan (but only from Madeleine de Proust ๐).
The Mog Champ sends his regards. The best madeleines I've ever had and would definitely try them again especially for some seasonal ones! It's a shame they don't have stores. I ordered three different ones to take back. The golden crunch was definitely the biggest highlight between the original and earl grey. There were some other ones I've wanted to try like the yuzu but unfortunately they were sold out! Thanks for the madeleines for dessert. Enjoyed every bite of it! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ
Absolutely amazing! Would come back again in a heartbeat for both the food and the service! Came here for the first time today (Sunday 17th) right before closing hoping to try a Madeleine for the first time. They were winding up and there wasnโt too much left for late comers but there were a few treats including the Classic Madeleine. The server was absolutely fantastic and recommended it be lightly warmed and despite being minutes away from closing encouraged us to sit down to enjoy the treat. His service was absolutely fantastic - heโs a real asset to the business. The Madeleine itself was so beautiful. Light a fluffy with a lovely caramelisation. The Florentine was also an absolute standout. Different to the typical chocolate biscuit - however it was so delicious on its own right there is no need for chocolate. The prices are also very reasonable for such craftsmanship. I will absolutely be coming back to enjoy more of your Madeleines and am wanting to try some of the non traditional flavours! There treats are incredibly delicious and such a great draw, but another huge part of the reason I will be returning is because of the impeccable standard of service! 100/10
A place so delightful, itโs hard to visit just once! The madeleines were absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the menu in detail. Since I needed to take the madeleines on a flight, I mentioned it to the staff, and he carefully packed everything for me. Thanks to the thoughtful packaging, not a single piece was damaged during the trip. While the prices might seem a bit expensive, the unique flavors and beautifully eye-catching designs make them perfect as memorable gifts to share with loved ones. I highly recommend the Yuzu flavor! It was my first time trying the Pandan one, and just as the staff suggested, it turned out to be exactly my taste.
