Sophie and the team at Le Gourmand made the most beautiful macarons for my birthday party, tailored for the occasion, admired and wolfed down by everyone with gusto!

My 1st time trying a vegan croissant and oatmilk cappuccino, quite nice almond croissant but it's hard to compare to a traditional butter one, just doesn't melt in the mouth the same way. Coffee was a little weak for me. Friend had creme brulee which was very nice, also vegan.

Exquisite…! This is (one of) the best vegan croissants artisan we have ever visited. James, the shop attendant, is very kind and friendly. He suggested one after another, so that we finally indulged in eating 7 croissants at the shop and purchased take away 9 more croissants packed in three bags back home too. 😍👍

The customer service is great. The lady is very sweet and friendly. They have amazing and very generous size of croissants. They have other sweets and savory. Unfortunately, indoor interior design doesn’t meet what the place offer. This place could work 100% more if the owner invests more and look after the decor. When we entered we were a little bit surprised because the decor was very basic and bland. If it was me, I would love to add a little French flag outside and French decor like the little cute cafes in Paris, showing baguettes and croissants at the front window. I like to see more savory baguettes and more. The creme brûlée was excellent but they make it just one a week which is a shame.

This establishment is a charming venue where one can indulge in French delicacies such as croissants, ice cream, macarons, and other pastries. While parking in the Newtown area may prove to be an arduous task, there are still available spots off the main street. The staff members at this establishment are amicable and responsive, always willing to offer assistance. It is worth noting that electronic payments incur an additional surcharge.
