Best Japanese bakery in Cairns! There are so many options I can choose, reasonable prices, their curry bread is a must try! So delicious! Matcha with red beans paste is awesome too! Definitely will come back again!

Fantastic Japanese bakery with great selections! I had both the savory type (curry pan) and the sweet type (choux cream puffs) and both were excellent! My wife’s selections were also great! Nice staff too!

Found this hidden gem while visiting Cairns and absolutely loved everything about it! If you’re a fan of Asian or Japanese-style bread, this is a must-visit spot. Every sweet and savoury flavour is authentic and reminds me of Japan. Highly recommend!

Japan Pan is the loveliest little cafe. Great food and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Today I purchased: 1 Curry Pan 2 Melon Pan 1 Matcha Anpan 1 Strawberry Matcha Condensed Roll Pan 1 Chicken Karaage Coppe Pan 1 Mt Fuji Matcha Milk Bread 1 Iced Matcha Latte Some of these items were gifted. The Karaage Coppe Pan, Curry Pan and Iced Matcha were outatanding. However everything we purchased was thoroughly enjoyable. We will return

My mother, sister and I all stopped here before school. There was already a few people waiting before opening, so I already thought it would probably be good, but I was honestly blown away. The filling in the strawberry donut was a perfect balance of sweetness and flavour without being too sweet, the curry pan was warm and fresh with a comforting flavour and crispy outside, and from what my sister said the strawberry matcha condensed milk roll was quite tasty as well. I also had a cold brew latte, which was surprisingly well priced and certainly one of the better cold brews I've had recently. I also got a melonpan, but I forgot to take a photo. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place and will for sure be coming back.
