The best cakes in Launceston. Good service and high quality cakes, so fresh and yummy. Beautifully decorated, not sickly sweet, will always be getting cakes from here. Highly recommend.

The cakes here are fresh, soft, and taste amazing. They can make any design you give, and the decorations always turn out beautiful. We stopped in at Cake o'clock for afternoon tea while we were in Launceston. I ordered the Earl Grey cake which was delicious, soft and fluffy like a chiffon cake with cream and the perfect amount of early grey flavour. My husband had the strawberry waffle which was also really good. I ordered a pineapple iced tea which was quite nice while my husband had a coffee. The venue is super cute and the upstairs area is cosy with heaps of windows and lots of boardgames to play. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Launceston area!

I ordered two 6" cakes for my dad's birthday (we couldn't settle on only one flavour), including their award-winning Earl Grey Tea and Chocolate cake and a strawberry cake. The service from Kim was exceptional, and attentive, so much so that we let her have full artistic license as to how to decorate both cakes, and both came out perfect. The cake is so light and the perfect level of sweet, so easy to eat more. Well worth the effort and price. Thank you for two perfect cakes!
