I wanted to come back so badly but couldnโt make it in timeโฆ the apple fritter was absolutely out of this world, as well as the cinnamon roll โdonutโ. In terms of fried dough, this is as good as it gets, insanely delicious. The atmosphere of the sitting area is nice, it could just be a bit more comfortable/inviting seating wise. Wonderful place!!
The shop has the cutest vibes inside and the staff are really friendly and welcoming! The Polish fried dough donuts are so good, but the BAGELS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I got the dill and onion and she suggested to put red onion, fresh tomato and garlic spread on it and literally I was in HEAVEN!! I canโt wait to go back, I am SO SAD itโs not open Monday-Wednesday! Best bakery in town, and EVERYTHING is vegan! And they have stickers and patches and cute other stuff, so go run and check it out now โค๏ธ
We walked in because the place we originally had in mind was closedโand weโre so glad we did. They offer delicious, creative savory bagel options, plus plenty of sweet treats for afterward. It might not be the spot for a super healthy lunch, but itโs definitely the perfect place to treat yourself. The staff were friendly, and the interior is really inviting, with cool, comfy furniture that makes it a great place to relax for a moment on a busy day.
I was so pleased I could stop by while in Cairns. Delicious bagel, good vibes and friendly owners! The peckels bakkas made their way back to Melbourne and they were a real treat. Wishing I was in Cairns a little longer so I got to try a few different things.
Vegan food is hard to come by in Cairns but my god, Bury Me Standing makes up for it phenomenally. I have no idea what I ordered and one bite in, I didnโt even care to know the name - it was just so good! Iโm kicking myself for not asking the name of the person at the counter/owner - they were super friendly and gave me all sorts of recommendations for vegan food around town. Biggest highlight will remain their cinnamon scroll - probably the best one Iโve had since being vegan. Even better than Live A Little in Adelaide (and I rate them HIGHLY). What a great find! Next time, Iโm going to be early so I can sit in and enjoy the ambience too.
